About Novels

A friend of mine suggested that I make a list of all the things I like in a novel and all the things that I don’t like.

Like:

1. Prose is easy to read and in a conversational style.
2. Short, but crystal clear, and poetic descriptions.

Don’t like:

1. Pretentious prose/moralizing.
2. False dilemmas/stupid characters.
